Week #2 Weigh in

LOST THIS WEEK: 5 LBS
TOTAL LBS LOST: 19 !!!

I've now been on the program for two weeks, and I am finding it to be easier as it goes on. I'm actually enjoying preparing my meals, and I look forward to the next one as it approaches, not cause I'm starved, but because the food is good and, I don't know, I just enjoy eating now, more for the experience.

I am enjoying reading and posting on the boards, something I have never done in the 9 years or so that I've been fiddling around on the internet. I've made a few friends at NS, such as Toni Lee, Bruce, and Rob.

I feel that my life long program of eating right, currently using NS foods, must incorporate sensible eating out and sensible "splurging" when one wants something that is really not healthy for you. So far I've had a couple occasions where I've eaten out, but I feel I've been able to control my portions enough to consider myself 100% on those days. Like I asked my daughter at Fat's, "Have you ever seen me eat this little at a chineese restaurant?!?" And yet I was full and satisfied.

I look forward to getting my 10lb bear, which is surprising, since I'm not into stuff like that. But it is something I've earned, so I will be proud of it.
